The College of Fishery Science, Nagpur, shares the central library facilities provided under Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU). Training in fish culture provides farmers and unemployed youth with essential skills and knowledge for sustainable aquaculture. It encourages the use of modern practices like seed production, feeding, and water quality management, improving productivity and income. These programs support self-employment, reduce rural unemployment, and promote entrepreneurship. With proper training, beneficiaries can manage fish farms efficiently and contribute to food security. aquaculture technologies to fish farmers, entrepreneurs, and rural youth, through training programs,
demonstrations, and workshops, the college translates research into practical applications in fish farming,
seed production, water and soil management, and value-added fish products. These efforts enhance
productivity, sustainability, and livelihood opportunities in the fisheries sector.
